Condition
1.Round seamless stain le ss mechanical tubing is generallysupplied in the cold-worked and annealed condition (see 5.2through 5.4). Square, rectangular, or other shapes of tubing aregenerally supplied annealed prior to final cold shaping. If someother condition is desired, details shall be included in the order.
2.The thermal treatment for ferritic and martensitic steelsshall be performed by a method and at a temperature se lectedby the manufacturer unless otherwise specified by the pur-chaser.
3.Unless otherwise specified. all austenitic tubes shall befurnished in the annealed condition. The anneal shall consist ofheating the material to a minimum temperature of 1900 F
[1040 C] and quenching in water or rapidly cooling by othermeans. Alternatively. immediately following hot forming whilethe temperature of the tubes is not less than the specifiedminimum solution treatment temperature. tubes may be indi-vidually quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means.I This anneal shall precede final cold work. when cold-workedtempers are required.
4. If any controlled microstructural characteristics arerequired, these shall be specified so as to be a guide to the mostsuitable he at treatment.

Hardness:
For the tubes which W.T. ≥2 mm, Rockwell hardness tests should be taken.
Tests of the seamless boiler tubes:
1.Bending Test:
The tubes should take the bending test when OD ≤22mm. The bending angle is 90 degrees, and the bending radius is 6 times the outer diameter of the steel tube.
2. Hydraulic test;
Eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing can be used instead of hydraulic tests. When eddy current testing, GB/T 7735-1995 Gr. A should be followed; when ultrasonic testing, GB/T 5777-1996 Gr. C8 should be followed.
